Since its inception in 2015, the FH Europe network has grown to include 23 member organizations in 22 countries, all sharing the goal of identifying as many people as possible who have FH and ensuring they receive early and appropriate treatment. In 2016, FH Europe representatives manned stands at the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) annual conference and the European Conference on Internal Medicine in Amsterdam to raise awareness of the condition to medical professionals.

The Trustee Board of FH Europe is composed of Ms. Jules Payne (HEART UK, UK) – Chair, Mr. Gunnar Karlsson (FH Sverige, Sweden) – Hon. Treasurer, Gabriele Hanauer-Mader (FHchol Austria), Athanasios Pallidis (LDL Greece) and Isabel Mendes Gaspar (FH Portugal). For FH Europe the objects of the CIO are the advancement of health and the prevention of early cardiovascular disease, particularly but not exclusively by: i) he provision and sharing of information about dyslipidaemia, including FH and related conditions; and ii) the promotion of research into the causes, diagnosis and treatment of FH and the dissemination of the useful results of such research.
